Excitation is proud to be among the first UK companies to join the all new Microsoft Partner Programme as a Gold Partner for Customer Relationship Management. Microsoft has given a great deal of thought to the revamp of the reseller community and it is now necessary to have numerous certified professionals in order to attain a Gold accreditation in a particular discipline. With our ever-growing corps of Dynamics CRM experts we were able to meet the requirements from day one.
Along with the need to demonstrate much greater technical capability and excellence to claim Gold, Microsoft rewards business growth and maintenance of customer satisfaction standards too. Excitation is very happy to have ticked these boxes with no fuss. Others will have until May 2011 to reach the necessary levels, but we’re pleased to have slotted straight in!

Excitation Signs Up For 10:10 Campaign
This is to announce that Excitation has today signed up for the 10:10 campaign.
For those of you who aren't familiar with it, the campaign (details of which can be found at http://www.1010uk.org/) is a grassroots campaign to get individuals and businesses to pledge to cut their carbon emissions by 10% in 2010. Most of us are reasonably aware of the problems associated with climate change; this is a chance to do something about it. I've already signed up to it personally, and would encourage others to do the same.
But what can Excitation do as a company? Many of our approaches are already oriented towards carbon reduction. For example, we work remotely a lot of the time, rather than spending time in cars visiting clients. Furthermore, we don't have direct control of our office energy (electricity and gas), which will make monitoring difficult. However, here are a few things to get started:
- 1. Do we need the 'comfort cooling' on all the time? If it's too hot, can we open a window?
- 2. We should never have the 'comfort cooling' on at the same time as we have radiators on.
- 3. Do we need the fax machine and printer on over the weekends, or at night?
This is to announce that Excitation has today signed up for the 10:10 campaign.
New Microsoft Competency For Excitation
Excitation is proud to have achieved a new competency within the Microsoft Partner Programme. The new Business Process and Integration competency maps closely to a core part of any Microsoft CRM project, as with the other areas in which we have achieved recognition.
Excitation Achieves Custom Development Solutions Competency
Excitation has recently marked another milestone by achieving the Custom Development Solution competency. This competency is awarded to partners who provide customer solutions through application development.
