Do I need Crystal Reports as well as Microsoft Dynamics CRM in order to customise my reports?

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 1.0 and 1.2 used Crystal Reports to customise reports. Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 includes self-configured reports which were unavailable in previous versions, but allows you to design customised reports in SQL Reporting Services and Microsoft Excel.

If you are upgrading the older Dynamics CRM 1.0 or 1.2 versions you can upgrade your Crystal Reports. This is something Excitation will be able to advise you on.
