What does the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM offer that earlier versions didn't?

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 is the latest version of Microsoft's CRM product. Building on the success of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, the new version offers improved end-user benefits, enhanced integration with Microsoft Office, greater support for global business, flexible hosting scenarios and improved availability, performance and scalability.

Microsoft made such a huge leap with its introduction of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, so much so that they decided to abandon plans to try and introduce Dynamics CRM 2.0. Realising the potential for improvements that could be made, Microsoft delayed the introduction of a new Dynamics CRM application, instead producing Dynamics CRM 3.0 with a host of new features and increased usability.

Dynamics CRM therefore includes a mobile browser client for PDAs and features closer integration with Microsoft Outlook. This makes it ideal for any business that has employees who need to access or input business data whilst they are out of the office. The improved integration with Outlook also increases the usability of Dynamics CRM 4.0.

Microsoft has also improved the developer environment making it easier to tailor Dynamics CRM 4.0 to meet your individual business needs. The improvements that were made with the introduction of Dynamics CRM 4.0 created a more usable, mobile and versatile system. This has enabled more businesses to introduce Dynamics CRM and reap the benefits that it provides.
